Habitat For Humanity - South Dakota
Reynold
(our CEO) and his daughter, Sara, spent spring break 2008 working on a Habitat
for Humanity project in Union Gospel Mission - Oregon
Roeder & Company has been an active contributor to Union Gospel Mission, a local drug addiction rehabilitation program, and NMTC beneficiary. Roeder & Company and Mr. Roeder are recognized with a plaque in the lobby of UGM’s new Portland facility partially financed with NMTC equity.
Extraordinary Young People - Oregon/WashingtonReynold Roeder and his wife, Wendy, have contributed regular financial support to Extraordinary Young People (“EXYP”), a Christian organization working with youth on Native American Reservations throughout the west. Unfortunately, EXYP recently became a casualty of our current economic climate, and has ceased operations. Please don’t forget the youth of our most economically disadvantaged population.
Sun Energy Power International
Roeder & Company has worked with the founders of Sun Energy Power and Sun Energy Power International. Walt Ratterman died during the earthquake in Haiti while working on non-profit solar energy projects, and was previously featured in the movie "Beyond the Call". Walt Ratterman was a very good man. Kids of the Kingdom Preschool
The Roeder family has been very active with this mission of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. The Roeders regularly donate in excess of 500 hours a year to this Christian Preschool and its predecessor day care. The picture above is shows some playground equipment assembled and delivered in summer of 2010.
In June of 2011 the Roeder's donated their time to a landscape and signage project. Below are pictures of some signage hand made by our CEO, Reynold Roeder.
Habitat for Humanity - Aloha, Oregon
Reynold and Sara were swinging hammers again. This time working with Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Churh and Willamette West Habitat for Humanity in the Ramble Glen Neighborhood. It rained (well, it is Oregon!) while they laid decking and hung siding at three of the homesites. Another volunteer day is planned for July 2011.
